We tackle the most complex challenges to unlock new frontiers for human progress, fortify national security, and protect critical assets to lead in the race for technological and operational superiority from ground to space.The Senior Electrical Engineer for our Products line is responsible for the designer of cutting-edge components for space and national security applications including Software Defined Radios, Digital Processing Systems, Space Rated Cameras, Star Trackers and Laser Communications.The position reports to the VP of Product Design and is based in San Diego, CA. This role is 100% onsite.In this role, the essential functions are:Derive and document circuit board requirements from system/top-level requirements.Create schematic drawings and functional/design specifications for complex high speed Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs).Layout and/or guide the layout of printed complex Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs).When/where needed, assist with manufacturing of complex PCBAs.Work with signal integrity, mechanical, power during board design and testingDevelop printed circuit board assembly test plans and procedures to assure that performance meets specifications.Validate the design; troubleshoot and test complex circuit boards.Be able to meet aggressive/accelerated schedule deadlines.Support internal and external design and development gate reviews with related documentation.Participate in proposals and trade studies, including evaluating contractor and subcontractor proposals for technical feasibility.Voyager offers a highly competitive total compensation package designed to support the well-being, growth, and success of our employees.
