With a structured commitment to your professional evolution—including dedicated annual continuing education and vendor-led technology training—this role provides the ideal platform to solidify your standing as a regional industry leader while enjoying the stability and prestige of an established, multidisciplinary firm.Core ResponsibilitiesDesign Leadership & Ownership: Spearhead the comprehensive electrical design process for diverse portfolios, ensuring every deliverable aligns with rigorous firm standards and specific client missions.Technical Mentorship: Architect the future of the department by advising junior electrical staff, providing the technical oversight and professional guidance necessary to foster a high-performance team.High-Fidelity Documentation: Direct the preparation of sophisticated design documents, overseeing the QA/QC lifecycle to ensure precision-engineered solutions are delivered ahead of critical milestones.Operational Stewardship: Monitor project lifecycles with a focus on schedule adherence and budget optimization, collaborating with Project Managers to align manpower and resources effectively.Strategic Team Growth: Play a decisive role in the firm's expansion by participating in the interview process and providing expert feedback on prospective talent acquisitions.Client Relationship Management: Act as a primary technical point of contact, engaging with external clients to provide innovative solutions that encourage long-term partnerships and repeat business.Multidisciplinary Integration: Synchronize complex electrical systems with internal architectural teams and external consultants to ensure seamless, holistic building performance.Required QualificationsLicensure: Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.Experience: Approximately 10 years of progressive experience within an AEC consulting environment.Sector Expertise: Proven design history within the Healthcare, Education, Commercial, Federal, or Light Industrial sectors.Preferred QualificationsSoftware Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Revit MEP and electrical analysis software (e.g., SKM or ETAP).Diverse Portfolio: Experience managing multi-state projects or navigating complex federal/DoD design criteria.Leadership Drive: A track record of successfully managing project budgets and leading multidisciplinary coordination meetings.
