Test &Measurements (NI), an Emerson business, has an exciting opportunity for you!We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer, for our Easthampton, MA location, with strong experience in hardware development, electrical test, and engineering documentation to support the design and development of custom hardware used in complex test systems. This role follows a hybrid work model, with four days in the office and one remote workday per week—giving you the best of both collaboration and flexibility.In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:Leading electrical design efforts from concept through validation.Responsibility for schematic development, hardware bring-up, testing, troubleshooting, and technical documentation.Reading and creating schematics and driving technical decisions.Leading projects through executionCollaborating across engineering disciplines.Who You Are:You anticipate the impact of emerging technologies and make necessary adjustments. You scan the environment for new technical skills, knowledge, or capabilities that can benefit business or personal performance. You come up with useful ideas that are new, better, or unique. You effectively communicate in various settings: one-on-one, small and large groups, or among diverse styles and position levels.For This Role, You Will Need:Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related discipline5+ years of experience in electrical or hardware engineeringExperience leading hardware development from concept through test and releaseStrong ability to read, interpret, and develop electrical schematicsExperience with hardware bring-up, debugging, validation, and troubleshootingFamiliarity with standard lab equipment including oscilloscopes, power supplies, DMMs, logic analyzers, and signal generatorsExperience creating and maintaining engineering documentation including test procedures, reports, and design documentationStrong cross-functional communication and project leadership skillsExperience supporting design reviews and mentoring engineers preferredAuthorized working in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future.Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:Experience with analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuit design and test systemsExperience with electromechanical system interfaces or aerospace/defense applicationsFamiliarity with PCB design review and layout collaborationExperience in regulated or high-reliability engineering environmentsOur Culture & Commitment to You:Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process.
