The ideal candidate will have extensive professional experience in our industry designing electrical building systems, and a demonstrated ability to lead and contribute to projects from the initial design through final construction. The Senior Electrical Engineer will thrive in a collaborative, results-driven environment, contributing directly to the execution of our mission and vision.

The Senior Electrical Engineer will report directly to the Electrical Team Manager and Principal in Charge (PIC). This opportunity is available at our Pittsburgh or Portersville, PA offices.Engineer PrioritiesLead in the preparation, development and design of commercial and industrial electrical power systems on a variety of MEP projects using applicable codes and company drafting standards, practices, and proceduresCollaborate with and foster the skill development of electrical design and project team membersPrepare technical reports, edit specifications, undertake technical investigation studies, and assist with power coordination studies.Participate in the QA/QC process, milestone design review and inter-discipline cross-checkingCoordinate time and schedule to work on multiple projects concurrentlySchedule and participate in all scheduled team communication, meetings, and trainingsBe a contributor to the overall business development of the companyWhat You NeedProfessional Engineer (PE) licensure or actively pursuing licensure strongly preferred10+ years designing electrical systems for the various MEP markets (Commercial, Education, Healthcare, etc.)Required: Proficient using AutoCAD 2021 or newerRequired: Proficient using Revit 2022 or newerExpert level knowledge of building, utility, and energy codesExtensive experience in the full MEP project lifecycle from design through final constructionDemonstrates a high level of personal integrity, professionalism and self awarenessBrings a strong work ethic, collaborative mindset and desire to develop both self and othersPossesses excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skillsWHY WNAOur firm continues to thrive in an ever-competitive industry where reputation matters.
