Here, you'll find a collaborative environment where safety is a top priority.What You Will DoProvide technical advice and guidance for all phases of Electrical Engineering projects.Develop Electrical Engineering projects utilizing new technology to constantly upgrade and improve site safety, efficiencies, cost controls, quality controls and protection of the environment.Review, investigate and develop appropriate recommendations regarding assigned Engineering projectsManage maintenance and projects and serve as subject matter expert (SME) on large/complex site planning/construction, expansion or modificationsProvide guidance and counsel to the site management team on applicable processes, practices, and existing/proposed local, state and federal regulationsContribute to site strategic planning and budgeting efforts for designated Engineering areasDevelop and evaluate AFE's (Authorization for Expenditure) for capital funding requestsMay evaluate and administer contracts with vendors for the provision of services and equipmentMay represent the site on company sponsored steering committees, task forces, or teamsPerform other duties as requiredWhat You Bring To FreeportBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related Engineering discipline and five (5) years of related experience in Engineering or a related field, ORMaster's degree in Electrical Engineering or related Engineering discipline and three (3) years of related experience in Engineering or related fieldWorking knowledge and experience in electronics, PLCs, radio communications and control systemsBroad knowledge of the principles and practices of Electrical Engineering with an understanding of Mechanical and Process Engineering techniquesAbility to research and analyze information of considerable difficulty and draw valid conclusionsSkill in managing large/complex Engineering projectsSkill in effective communication, both verbal and writtenAbility to evaluate and implement new methods and techniques for operational improvementAbility to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautionsSkill in following safety practices and recognizing hazardsPreferred QualificationsAdvanced degree or Professional Engineering (PE) CertificationWhat We Offer YouThe estimated annual pay range for this role is currently $105,000-$145,000. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions.
Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance.
