Responsibilities and qualifications for this Electrical Engineer, PE position include:
- Must have 15+ years of experience in electrical engineering with a current Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Strong lighting design capabilities and ability to write own specifications
- Proven experience with commercial, industrial, K-12, higher education, data center, and electric distribution (up to 15KV) projects
- Proficiency in short circuit, coordination, generator sizing, and lighting calculation software
- Strong communication and business development skills to work with clients and lead initiatives
- Willingness to travel occasionally (mostly within Texas, by car)
- Ability to manage, mentor, and lead a team of engineers and designers
- Flexibility to work remote with occasional in-office presence for leadership responsibilities
- Must be able to pass a background check
Salary: $140,000 - $180,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
