In the role of Senior Electrical Engineer, we'll count on you to:

1. Coordinate the work of Electrical Engineers with the multidisciplinary team throughout the entire project's development.
2. Establish client relations, and participate in marketing, design, and production meetings regarding electrical systems.
3. Assume the electrical lead on many projects.
4. Participate in reviews with various governing agencies for code compliance.
5. Conduct schematic, design development, and contract document work sessions in conjunction with the Project Manager and other disciplines.
6. Coordinate workload through the entire project development to complete projects on schedule.
7. Track the financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust the work effort with the team to ensure that the work is completed within the parameters of the agreed-upon schedule.
8. Work with the Project Manager and Regional Controller for project reviews with corporate management as needed.
9. Direct the activities of other electrical engineering professionals, and act as a mentor to staff members as needed.
10. Perform other duties as needed.
11. Work will include a mixture of office and field work and may require travel.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with an engineering consulting firm is desired.
• Preference given to local candidates.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET-EAC Accredited Degree).
• A minimum of 10 years experience in electrical design (lighting/power/systems/controls).
• Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical power, lighting, signal, and control design.
• Strong computer knowledge of Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and electrical design software.
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant in our employee-owned culture is a must.
