Senior Electrical Engineer - Journeyman ElectricianWe are seeking for a highly experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to support complex, large-scale commercial and industrial projects throughout Central and Southwest Ohio. This leadership role will oversee multidisciplinary electrical design and field coordination while managing a team of engineers and technical staff.This opportunity is ideal for an electrical professional with strong technical depth in power systems and experience leading teams across sophisticated facility types.Key responsibilities include:Lead electrical engineering design and execution for commercial and industrial facilitiesSupervise and mentor a team of approximately 12 direct reportsOversee high-voltage and medium-voltage systems design and integrationManage power distribution, lighting systems, transformers, PLCs, telecom, and data infrastructureCoordinate across design, construction, and project management teamsUtilize industry-standard platforms for modeling, collaboration, and project trackingEnsure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirementsQualifications and technical requirements include:10+ years of progressive electrical engineering experienceJourneyman LicenseExperience managing direct reports and leading engineering teamsHands-on experience with all of the following systems:High Voltage systemsMedium Voltage systemsTelecom infrastructureData systemsLighting systemsPower distributionTransformersPLCsStrong background in electrical system integration across complex facilitiesAbility to oversee multiple projects and coordinate cross-functional teamsSolid understanding of applicable electrical codes and industry standardsIndustry and software exposure:Experience supporting sophisticated facilities such as healthcare, aviation, hospitality, military, data centers, warehousing, or industrial environments is highly valued. (Experience in one or more is sufficient.)Familiarity with platforms such as Revit, Procore, SolidWorks, Navisworks, or BIM 360 is preferred.
