We are representing a well-known Fortune 500 manufacturer seeking an Electrical Engineer to be the go-to authority on power systems and electrical safety at a growing production site. You will help plan and deliver projects touching electrical, mechanical, structural, and utility infrastructure.
Position Overview
- Act as the plant's resident electrical expert, keeping operations aligned with NEC/NFPA 70, NFPA 70E, OSHA, and company standards
- Drive capital and facility upgrade projects from early concept through startup and commissioning
- Design, specify, and oversee power distribution (such as 480V three-phase) and manage plant load planning
- Direct outside contractors, support reliability efforts, and maintain engineering drawings and documentation
- Contribute to broader facility projects involving structural, mechanical, and utility systems
- Champion safe electrical work practices across the site
Position Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, Electronics
- At least 3 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing, facilities, or industrial setting
- Solid understanding of electrical safe work practices
- Comfortable interpreting P&IDs and one-line diagrams
- Skilled in AutoCAD and SolidWorks
