Senior Electrical EngineerWe are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for a short-term, high-impact assignment at a chemical plant. This role requires strong expertise in industrial electrical systems, instrumentation, and controls, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced plant environment.Core ResponsibilitiesPerform electrical engineering design and analysis for industrial projectsDevelop electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, and one-line diagramsConduct electrical load studies, short circuit studies, and arc flash analysisDesign and specify electrical equipment such as transformers, switchgear, MCCs, and UPS systemsPrepare control schematics, grounding systems, and heat tracing designsLead project teams and coordinate with stakeholdersSupport field activities including installation checks, troubleshooting, and system validationAct as Project Lead for single-discipline projects (scope development & resource planning)Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited)PE license preferred7–20 years of experience in heavy industrial sectors (chemical, petrochemical, manufacturing, energy)Strong knowledge of protective relaying and short circuit analysisExperience with electrical modeling tools (e.g., EasyPower or similar)Experience in instrumentation and control systemsAdditional RequirementsMust be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorshipWillingness to work fully on-site and travel as requiredValid driver's licenseAbility to pass background and drug screeningStrong organizational, leadership, and multitasking skillsCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive hourly rate (based on experience)Medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) planDisability insurance
