Senior Electrical Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned and proficient Senior Electrical Engineer. This role offers the opportunity to lead technical and design services across a broad range of electrical engineering projects. You will play a pivotal role in producing construction drawings and specifications for diverse client projects, both domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical design process for both large-scale and smaller projects.
• Manage project schedules and coordinate efforts of the design team.
• Engage directly with architects and clients to ensure project requirements and expectations are met.
• Conduct initial project evaluations and prepare detailed reports and documentation.
• Produce comprehensive design documents, including drawings and specifications.
• Ensure all designs meet applicable codes, standards, and project criteria through rigorous design reviews.
• Willingness to travel as required for project needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with PE registration.
• A minimum of 10 years’ experience in electrical design, including expertise in power distribution, lighting systems, fire alarm systems, and grounding.
• Proficient in conducting coordination and arc flash studies.
• Thorough knowledge of the National Electrical Code, Building Codes, NFPA Codes, and Energy Codes.
• Experience with federal or municipal government projects, healthcare facilities, or aviation is advantageous but not essential.
• Expertise in REVIT and AutoCAD.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
• Strong initiative and the ability to work independently to complete tasks.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess a valid driver’s license.
