You will be joining a team responsible for the development of electronic controls hardware for our large-scale battery systems comprising a wide variety of sensors, actuators and custom electronics.
The role will expose you to interesting, multidisciplinary technical challenges spanning various teams at the company, from gas sensing to electrochemistry to high power electronics. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape and be part of the growth of a fast-moving company with breakthrough technology and an incredible mission!ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with firmware, mechanical, controls, and manufacturing engineers to develop effective and reliable electrical systemsPCB design: schematic capture, PCB layout, board validation and manufacturing supportPrototyping and validation of new electrical circuits and systemsTroubleshoot and root-case analysis systems down to the component levelSensor selection, evaluation and interface definitionClearly document design decisions, test results, and troubleshooting procedures.Qualifications5+ years of professional experience, or equivalent education experience in electrical engineeringBachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalentBackground bringing products from concept to production stagesUnderstanding of electrical design fundamentalsExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsExperience with PCB CAD tools (Altium or similar)Familiarity with electrical lab tools (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, etc)Some programming experience (Python, C/C++, Matlab, etc)Must be able to obtain US work authorizationSalary Range $115,000-130,000.
