Determines and pursues courses of action necessary to obtain desired results. (Recommendation of assignments is often self-initiated.)Ability to travel approximately 10% of the time domestically and internationally.Strong expertise in embedded system design, mixed-signal electronics, and power electronics.Understands and can operate within a highly regulated environment following industry technical and test standards as well as good documentation and laboratory practices.Demonstrated ability to plan, develop, coordinate, and direct significant engineering programs or multiple smaller projects with complex features, leveraging both internal and external resources.Applies advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts to solve complex problems, while developing new methodologies and approaches that deliver innovative and ingenious solutions.Fosters a culture of collaboration and open communication across all levels of the organization. Serve as a technical consultant to the project team, helping solve challenging design issues, providing training, and bridging knowledge across disciplines.Working familiarity with FDA submission processes, ISO standards (13485), and Quality System Regulation (QSR) requirementsExperience working with relevant product development standards, guidelines, and regulations (60601, 14708, 14971, FCC)Experienced in software engineering, with the ability to guide firmware development or create hardware-characterization tools (languages such as C, Assembly, and Python).Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence cross-functional decisions.
