Senior Electrical Design EngineerLead, evaluate, design, and engineer projects and systems to specification on projects ranging from new design/build to rehabilitation of existing facilities and systems. Provide ongoing technical guidance and engineering issue resolution as needed.Provides conceptual design for specific projectsServes as design professional at project team design meetingsPrepares complex preliminary redline design layouts for estimatingPerforms more complex calculations for a project, such as heating/cooling loads, equipment selection and sizing, friction loss calculations, hydraulic calculations, etc.Performs site inspections to determine compliance with construction documents and resolves design issues during construction phaseSupervises less-experienced engineers in performing HVAC, fire protection or other system design and documents production of small and large projectsBachelor's degree in Engineering or related fieldPE License required8+ years of experience, including lead experienceExcellent knowledge of applicable systems design, such as fire suppression, HVAC, plumbing, etc., as well as general understanding of system operations.Ability to read complex mechanical and plumbing plansExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to communicate with all levels of employees, clients and general contractorsStrong public speaking/presentation skills
