Senior Electrical Design and Analysis EngineerThe Boeing Company has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Electrical Design & Analysis Engineer to become part of Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) Vehicle Management System (VMS) team in Berkeley, MO.In this position, you will enable the VMS organization to continue to advance its technologies in support of our Phantom Works and Fixed-Wing programs.The team is responsible for developing integration test assets, real-time software test environments, subsystem/system testing, and evaluating system performance in simulation lab environment. Simulation and modeling are utilized to assist in requirements development, software and hardware development, and equipment verification and validation.Position Responsibilities Include:Lead major design activities for hardware/software productsMentor junior engineers in design practices and processes; oversee the quality of their work productsDevelop architectures for test systemsSelect components for hardware designs and support the procurement and fabrication of hardware designsIntegrate hardware systems and/or software together in a test settingOperate complex test stations, electronic test equipment, and test softwareTest and validate to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirementsSolve problems concerning fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycleInterface with programs/customers in developing requirements, in establishing statements of work, and in providing status and performanceDevelop estimates for new work by gathering data from other BT&E partners and from team actualsDevelop detailed schedules and drive team performance to meet schedulesBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required).
