Job Description
We are a growing medical technology manufacturer developing advanced proton therapy systems. We are seeking a Senior EHS Specialist / Supervisor to own our site EHS programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive a proactive safety culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Compliance & Oversight: Lead the facility's EHS program; ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, NRC, DOT, and local regulations.
- Risk Mitigation: Conduct hazard assessments, job safety analyses, and incident investigations (root cause analysis).
- Audits & Reporting: Manage EHS metrics, recordkeeping, permits, internal audits, and regulatory agency interactions.
- Training & Culture: Deliver safety training (new hire, annual, task-specific) and promote a culture of accountability.
- Cross-Functional Support: Partner with manufacturing, engineering, and facilities teams on EHS considerations for new equipment and processes.
- Emergency Response: Lead emergency preparedness and response planning.
- 3+ years of EHS experience (manufacturing or machinery environment preferred).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, NRC, and DOT standards.
- Excellent training, communication, and incident investigation skills.
- Must be local (no relocation) and authorized to work in the US (no sponsorship).
