Senior EAM DeveloperAt Randstad's DC client, we're seeking a Senior EAM Developer responsible for spearheading the entire Systems Development Life Cycle of Enterprise Asset Management solutions. This role involves hands-on execution, from design and coding to testing, implementation, and ongoing support for extensions, integrations, and new software within the EAM ecosystem, including external interfaces.Responsibilities:Execute tasks across the Systems Development Life Cycle for EAM solutions, encompassing design, coding, testing, implementation, and support.Engage in architecture design, technology planning, and product evaluation, contributing to buy vs. build recommendations.Take leadership responsibilities for specific efforts or technical tasks, guiding peers and junior team members.Independently design, develop, and modify EAM applications using disciplined development processes.Lead or participate in technically advanced projects across multiple environments, demonstrating deep domain knowledge.Collaborate in technical project planning with IT business analysts, organizing and documenting technical requirements and design specifications.Evaluate and provide recommendations for application packages and tools, supporting deployment, testing, and integration of new modules, upgrades, and fixes.Lead unit and integration testing activities, ensuring compliance with quality standards and procedures.Review modules for quality assurance, compliance with standards, and SLAs.Provide ongoing maintenance of programs and interfaces, offering Tier III support and troubleshooting for system errors or deficiencies.Contribute to user guides, training documentation, and provide technical coaching and mentoring to junior team members.Deliverables:Architectural designs, integration, and configuration within the EAM application platform.Detailed technical requirements, specifications, and application design.Development of programs and interfaces adhering to predefined standards.Testing and deployment plans, code reviews, unit test case creation, and automated unit test execution.Level III support for incidents, including root cause analysis and source code tracing.Requirements:BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.Minimum seven years of IT experience, with at least five in an EAM developer role involving platforms such as IBM Maximo.In-depth experience with various Maximo modules and related technologies (listed in the job description).Hands-on involvement in at least two full cycle implementations of the EAM product being supported.Proficiency in change and release management processes, estimation, and excellent communication skills.Experience in client-focused service delivery environments.Preferred:MS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.Technical certification in the supported product.Demonstrated experience and certification in at least one formal development methodology.Join our team and play a crucial role in driving innovative EAM solutions within a dynamic environment.
