.NET Full-Stack Developer

Location: Phoenix, AZ (Local Candidates Only)

Work Arrangement: Hybrid – Must work onsite during the first week and twice per month thereafter.

Contract: 8 months Duration

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced .NET Full-Stack Developer to design, develop, enhance, troubleshoot, and maintain enterprise web applications and backend processes using Microsoft technologies.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET, ASP.NET, Azure, SQL Server, and Power BI. This role involves developing new application features, maintaining existing systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

The successful candidate should be solution-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working independently with minimal direction and evolving requirements.

Required Experience

• 5+ years of professional software application development experience using the required technologies.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments is preferred.
• Previous experience in government or education-sector projects is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Review business requirements and technical specifications to understand development deliverables.
• Design, develop, implement, and unit test new application features and enhancements.
• Build and maintain web applications and backend processes using Microsoft technologies.
• Troubleshoot application defects, debug code, and perform root cause analysis.
• Participate in code reviews, software design discussions, and technical planning.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, QA, Operations, and other development teams.
• Provide development estimates and ensure timely delivery of project commitments.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Coordinate with infrastructure and operations teams for application environments, builds, and deployments.
• Ensure application quality, performance, maintainability, and adherence to development best practices.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong full-stack application development experience using C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core 3.1 or later.
• Hands-on experience with ASP.NET Web API, ASP.NET MVC, Razor Pages, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), SOLID principles, design patterns, and software development best practices.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure services, including Azure App Services, Azure Functions, and Storage Accounts.
• Strong SQL Server development experience, including stored procedures, functions, and relational database design.
• Power BI development experience, including semantic models, reports, dashboards, visualizations, and embedding reports into secured web applications.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Team Foundation Services (TFS), Git, or other source control and work management tools.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively with technical and business teams.

Preferred Skills

• Recent hands-on experience with .NET 6 or later.
• Experience developing applications using Blazor.
• Experience with legacy .NET Framework applications.
• Familiarity with Telerik Controls, Progress DevCraft, or Kendo UI.
• Experience with application architecture and system design.
• Additional Azure services such as Service Bus, API Management, and Key Vault.
• Working knowledge of SSIS and SSRS for ETL and reporting.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
