Senior Director, Sourcing

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Director Sourcing to join the team of a leader in the Real Estate & Construction space. This role will manage sourcing and supplier priorities that improve value, reliability, and operational performance. You will partner with finance, operations, legal, and business stakeholders to negotiate effectively, manage vendors, and support better purchasing decisions. The position offers the opportunity to improve cost discipline, supplier performance, and the processes that support scalable execution within a Real Estate & Construction environment.

Location: Chicago, IL - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $200,000 – $245,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a high-performing Sourcing and Procurement (S&P) team for a significant technology client
• Drive implementation of S&P programs and manage KPIs to ensure operational excellence
• Oversee sourcing compliance, controls, and develop innovative strategies for improvement
• Manage supplier performance and deliver quarterly results to operations and clients
• Recruit and mentor top S&P talent, fostering a collaborative team culture and career development

Qualifications

• 10+ years of strategic sourcing experience, ideally in facilities services and team management
• Bachelor's Degree in Business or Supply Chain Management; MBA is a plus
• Preferred certifications: CPM, CPSM, or CPSD
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), with e-procurement experience preferred
• Willingness to travel within the U.S. (approximately 25%)
