Senior Director, People Partnerships

Onsite Full Time General HR


  • Serve as a senior strategic People partner to assigned executives and business leaders

  • Provide guidance on organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, talent strategy, performance, and employee matters

  • Translate business priorities into practical people and organizational strategies

  • Partner with the People Business Partner team to improve consistency in HR programs, processes, and practices

  • Elevate the PBP model toward proactive, strategic business partnership

  • Establish expectations, standards, and best practices for People Business Partner support

  • Assess the People Business Partner operating model, including roles, responsibilities, capabilities, alignment, and capacity

  • Support organizational design, restructuring, workforce planning, succession planning, talent reviews, and business transformation initiatives

  • Use workforce data and people insights to identify trends, risks, talent needs, and opportunities

  • Partner with People Centers of Excellence, including Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Employee Relations, People Operations, and Learning & Development

  • Influence policymaking and strategy through communication and persuasion

  • Partner with the executive leadership team toward company goals

  • Coach and influence leaders on organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, performance, accountability, and talent decisions

  • Strengthen PBP capabilities through coaching, knowledge sharing, tools, and frameworks

  • Lead and implement human resources initiatives addressing business needs

  • Oversee employee relations, communications, retention, performance monitoring, and counseling

  • Guide talent and development strategies

  • Lead and support compliance with corporate human resource policies and procedures

  • Develop and implement new practices and policies as the organization grows

  • Oversee employee terminations and exit interviews, including termination paperwork

  • Assist management, compliance, and legal counsel with HR legal requirements and government reporting regulations

  • Improve HR operations and develop a best-in-class HR organization

  • Collaborate with leadership to assess risk and advise on HR matters

  • Manage stakeholders and drive results in a collaborative environment

  • Maintain compliance with Inovalon's policies, procedures, and mission statement

  • Adhere to confidentiality and HIPAA requirements

  • Perform other duties assigned by the Employer


Requirements



  • Expert business knowledge with a comprehensive understanding of the organization and functional area(s)

  • Advanced leadership skills

  • Ability to apply relevant principles, concepts, and technologies

  • Minimum 15+ years of professional experience within a strategic, senior human resources capacity

  • Minimum 8+ years of management experience

  • Strong understanding and application of change management and process excellence principles

  • Data-driven analysis and performance metrics, including data visualization

  • Broad business and financial understanding and ability to apply it to human capital implications

  • Ability to think strategically, synthesize business data, and develop innovative and holistic HR solutions

  • Proven collaboration skills and ability to gain consensus through personal influence

  • Demonstrated ability to invite diverse perspectives, promote an inclusive work environment, and support workforce diversity

  • Bachelor's degree in Arts/Sciences (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent education/experience

  • PHR or SHRM-CP preferred

  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States

  • Position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship

  • Ability to comply with confidentiality and HIPAA requirements

  • Ability to meet physical demands of sedentary work and occasional exertion up to 10 pounds

  • Willingness to travel; metadata specifies 20% travel, while the physical-demands section states less than 5% locally, usually for training purposes
