This person will own the full development function — setting strategy, managing a dedicated team, and driving diversified philanthropic revenue growth across major gifts, corporate partnerships, grants, and individual giving. Close collaboration with executive leadership and the Board is central to the role.Key Responsibilities:Design and execute a multi-year fundraising strategy spanning the full donor lifecycle — identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardshipBuild and grow revenue streams across major gifts, individual giving, corporate partnerships, foundation grants, and mission-aligned sponsorshipsLead, mentor, and develop a high-performing development team with clear goals and accountabilityEstablish KPIs, pipeline metrics, and reporting cadences that drive transparency and performanceCultivate and steward relationships with corporate, institutional, and individual funders alongside executive leadershipBuild a sophisticated major gifts program with a structured pipeline and disciplined relationship managementOversee a diversified grant portfolio including corporate-supported education, workforce development, and research fundingPartner cross-functionally with Membership, Marketing, Communications, and Events teams to maximize donor engagementQualifications:10+ years of progressive fundraising experience, preferably in a nonprofit, healthcare, or association environmentProven track record closing major gifts ($25K–$1M+) and securing institutional grants ($500K+)Experience building donor pipelines and leading development teamsStrong executive presence; comfortable engaging Board members and senior stakeholdersAdditional Details:Manages a team of development professionals across grants, corporate partnerships, and individual givingTravel: Up to 20% annually for key conferences and organizational eventsPerks:Competitive salaryHybrid and flexible work arrangementsMission-driven culture with strong values around inclusion, collaboration, and staff developmentAddison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
