Senior Director, Inflammation Small Molecule Discovery

Amgen seeks a Senior Director of Small Molecule Drug Discovery in Inflammation to lead early inflammatory research from target identification to IND/FIH. You will define portfolio strategies for small molecule modalities and guide multidisciplinary teams across sites, shaping scientific direction and development hypotheses.

You will mentor TA scientists, drive governance processes, and represent the function in strategic initiatives while delivering impactful, publication-worthy science.
