- Lead the development and ongoing management of financial models used to evaluate business performance, growth initiatives, and capital decisions.
- Analyze prospective investments and strategic initiatives, including major capital projects, acquisitions, and other growth opportunities.
- Build detailed financial analyses incorporating return profiles, key sensitivities, operating assumptions, and potential downside scenarios.
- Prepare financial materials and recommendations to support senior leadership in evaluating significant business and investment decisions.
- Support capital raising and financing activities associated with both existing operations and future growth initiatives.
- Work with internal stakeholders and external capital partners throughout financing and other strategic processes.
- Monitor key financial requirements and obligations associated with existing financing arrangements.
- Lead financial planning activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and longer-term financial projections.
- Evaluate actual performance against forecasts and budgets, identify key business drivers, and provide detailed variance analysis.
- Partner with teams across the organization to incorporate operational and commercial assumptions into financial plans and models.
- Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to senior leadership across a variety of business initiatives.
- Develop and improve financial processes, reporting, and analytical tools as the organization continues to grow.
- Help ensure investment decisions, financial plans, and capital priorities are aligned with broader business objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in finance, investment banking, corporate development, or a related field.
- Advanced financial modeling skills and a strong understanding of valuation, investment analysis, and capital markets.
- Experience evaluating investments, acquisitions, capital projects, and other strategic opportunities.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and performance analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience working with financial reporting and analytical tools.
- Strong business judgment with the ability to translate complex financial analysis into actionable recommendations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to work effectively with senior leadership and external stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively across multiple functions and take ownership of key financial initiatives.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
