Senior Director – Enterprise Risk Management, Workplace Safety & Health

Responsibilities

• Work with the appropriate Business Support partners to seamlessly lead the day-to-day function of the department in support of corporate objectives, while enabling progressive career development and an incredible employee experience
• Establish Aritzia’s approach to Workplace Safety & Health
• Minimize the impacts associated with hazards in our spaces
• Assess the compliance of the workplace safety & health program
• Minimize the impacts associated with emergencies in our spaces
• Respond to incidents quickly and effectively
• Manage, maintain, and monitor WSH risk

Requirements

• Proven and best-in‑class skills, applicable certifications, education and/or experience in Workplace Safety & Health with a focus on Distribution Centers (DCs)
• A commitment to learn, apply, champion and enrich Aritzia's Values and Business and People Leadership principles
• The skills to collaborate strategically with cross-functional partners in the pursuit of shared business outcomes
• The ability to set clear objectives and design a strategy that inspires the team
