Position Title

Sr. Director, Digital Manufacturing and Intelligent Automation

Position: Senior Director overseeing digital transformation initiatives for the operations organization. Reports to the VP of Engineering and is part of the Global Engineering team.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate emerging digital trends and technologies, including cloud computing, data analytics, AI, and IoT.
  • Lead the development and execution of the Smart Manufacturing Global Strategy and establish the Capability Center.
  • Lead cross‑functional teams in implementing digital solutions aligned with business requirements.
  • Drive cultural change and organizational readiness for digital transformation, fostering a digital‑first mindset.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external partners, vendors, and industry experts to remain current with best practices.
  • Establish KPIs and metrics to measure the success and impact of digital initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy, security regulations, and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of digital transformation initiatives, providing recommendations for improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, computer science, or related field (master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in digital transformation or digital strategy roles.
  • Strong understanding of cloud, data analytics, AI, and IoT.
  • Proven track record of leading and implementing digital transformation initiatives in complex organizations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and influence skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with data‑driven decision making.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change and navigate ambiguity.

Travel & Physical Requirements

  • Approximately 40% travel.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Preferred Experience

  • cGMP MedTech experience.
  • Experience in the life sciences or healthcare industry.

Benefits & Compensation

Annual salary range: $220,000 – $240,000 (range may be modified). Bonus or incentive pay is also available.

Comprehensive benefits package includes paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k) eligibility. Hybrid or remote work arrangement may be possible.
