Senior Director, Data ManagementWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Director of Data Management to spearhead our efforts towards advancing the quality, consistency and governance of data across multiple systems. You will lead cross-functional teams, architect MDM solutions, and drive the implementation of strategies to support business operations and analytics.Key ResponsibilitiesThis highly strategic role will shape how data is captured, structured and leveraged across the organization for driving innovation, operational excellence, business intelligence and analytics. Partnering with business and IT stakeholders, this Senior Director ensures that our data strategy supports key business processes, technology product development, system integrations and analytics initiatives.Strategic LeadershipDefine and implement an enterprise-wide data management strategy aligned to business goals and best practicesArchitect and build a data management function from the ground up, define its mission, structure and operating modelEstablish foundational capabilities across data governance, quality and master data managementDrive the adoption of master data standards, business rules, and taxonomies to ensure completeness, accuracy, consistency, and timelinessLead cross-functional initiatives to improve data quality, accessibility and usabilityChampion data as a strategic asset across departments and executive leadershipPlatform & Architecture OversightPartner with IT in the design of our enterprise data architecture, ensuring it aligns with business strategy and supports data driven decision makingIdentify best-in-class MDM tools that will optimize current processesLead the integration of MDM solutions with enterprise applications (e.g., ERP, CRM)Operational ExecutionLead and mentor a high performing data management team within a centralized analytics functionBuild and oversee metadata management, data lineage and stewardship programsTranslate strategic data initiatives into actionable roadmaps with clear milestones, KPIs and ownershipMonitor and optimize performance and ensure SLA adherenceProvide training on enterprise data and tools to promote data literacyStakeholder EngagementBuild strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure MDM initiatives meet business needsPartner with analytics, product and business units to align data initiatives with operational needsCommunicate data strategy and impact to senior executive stakeholdersQualificationsBachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field; Master's degree preferred10+ years in Data Management, Governance or Architecture, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a centralized analytics functionHands-on experience with MDM platforms (e.g., Informatica, Oracle, Semarchy, Reltio, Profisee)Experience with ERP, CRM, and data integration across cloud and on-prem environmentsStrong understanding of data governance, data modeling and metadata managementStrong leadership, project management, and stakeholder engagement skillsProven ability to lead initiatives through influence and not direct authorityExcellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical audiencesExperience in the insurance or financial service industries highly preferredApplicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
