In this role, the successful candidate will perform truck repair and maintenance work in accordance with factory and industry standards, run diagnostics on vehicles and work closely with other team members to meet company goals.This is for 2nd Shift 3:00pm- 2:00am M-FPrimary Duties and Responsibilities:Performs minor and major repairs on trucks and trailersConducts regular preventative maintenance on service trucks, including inspection, tire rotation and oil changesCollaborates with repair team to diagnose problems with vehicles and plan repairsMaintains accurate records of each repair performed on vehiclesResponsible for repairing, modifying and performing preventative maintenance on applicable fleet vehicles.Responsible for all maintenance to the operation of equipment by completing all required preventive maintenance requirementsTroubleshoots and repairs mechanical malfunctionsInspects fleet vehicles to ensure that all vehicles are DOT compliant to include brake maintenanceCompletes all required daily reporting as requiredMaintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory levelPrepares mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.Adheres to strict safe work practices to comply with all Company, DOT and OSHA regulationsJob QualificationsEducation:High School DiplomaExperience and Competencies:2 years of experience in fleet maintenanceAir brake system, Hydraulic system, Engine, Suspension, Preventative Maintenance, HVAC electrical and CNG system.Welding and body fabrication experience is a plusMust be able to read and comprehend technical reference materials (equipment and repair manuals)Experience with applicable Microsoft and diagnostic applicationsStrong attention to detailPrompt, professional and dependable demeanorBenefits:Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)Retirement Plan (401k, IRA)Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D)Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays)Short Term & Long Term DisabilityTraining & DevelopmentFCC Environmental Services, LLC operates in a multicultural, global environment and is a richly diverse organization operating seamlessly as one company.
