As a Senior DevOps Engineer in the Search team, you will help us build a Search platform that supports millions of customer requests. You will be responsible for building, managing and automating cloud infrastructure that support our customers' online search needs. You will own CI/CD pipelines from lower development environment all the way to production.
You will review, analyze and recommend new solutions and tools to improve the software development process all while maintaining and enhancing existing processes. You'll have the opportunity to give ideas to improve our products as well as develop your skills, learn new technologies and languages, and continue to learn. We're looking for highly motivated individuals who work well in a team-oriented, iterative, and fast-paced environment.The Expertise and Skills You BringSolid understanding of CI/CD processes, with proven experience with tools like Jenkins.Experience with container technologies like Docker & Kubernetes (AWS EKS preferred).Experience with core AWS Services and ability to build automated processes using SDK or CLI.Ability to design automations to solve problems and create solutions using scripting languages such as Groovy, Shell, Python and/or similar languagesUnderstanding of different build tools and package managers for different programming languages, e.g.
helm, maven, npm, etc.Experience with source code management with Git and with repositories management such as Artifactory.Experience with test automation, coverage reporting, quality gates, security scans and environment promotionsKnowledge of Datadog, Splunk or other logging, observability, monitoring or APM tool.Ability to trace complex CI/CD scenarios, release issues and environment issues in a multi-component environment.Familiarity with search engines like Solr is a plus.Our teams build and supply to Fidelity’s digital presence.
