By equipping the brightest minds with the best resources available, we provide an invaluable edge in real estate.We are currently seeking an accomplished Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team to support multiple software products and brands across the organization, such as Debt Solutions, CoStar Suite, LoopNet, Apartments.com, Homes.com, and Ten-X.This position is located in Atlanta, GA and offers a schedule of Monday through Thursday in office and the option to work from home Friday.ResponsibilitiesDemonstrates ownership and pride in performance, understands its impact on company success, and thrives in a fast-paced environment supporting multiple software products and brands across the organization.Apply DevOps principles and automation to drive operational excellence through an infrastructure-as-code mindset.Continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) using latest DevOps tools and innovative methodsWorks well in a team environment as an individual contributorCommunicate and collaborate well with teams in IT and business organizations within the companyDeploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized applications using Kubernetes and container orchestration platforms (e.g., EKS, AKS, GKE, or on-prem Kubernetes)Support application deployments across cloud and on-prem environments, ensuring high availability, scalability, and reliabilityDiagnose and resolve infrastructure, deployment, and performance issues across distributed and microservices-based systemsBe a critical thinker with good problem solvingStrong time management skills with an ability to multi-taskStrong written and verbal communication skillsParticipate in an on-call rotation to provide after-hours support for production systems and ensure timely incident response and resolution.Basic Skills and QualificationsBachelor's Degree required from an accredited, in-person, not for profit university or collegeA track record of commitment to prior employers5+ years' experience with managing heavy web traffic sites using mass scale architecture with a developer focusSolid sizing and estimation techniques for small to medium size tasks and projectsInfrastructure as code using CloudFormation, Terraform or similar platformsSome experience in AWS or Azure or Google cloudExperience with enterprise monitoring tools in areas of APM, system vitals, synthetics, and RUM.Heavy scripting support (PowerShell), Bash, Ruby, GroovyExperience with any SQL or No SQL databasesExperience configuring Content Delivery Networks (CDN) for performance caching and global traffic management.Familiarity with infrastructure foundation components of large networks in AWS and on-prem (e.g., systems & network administration, DNS, hypervisors, containers, databases, multi-datacenters).Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration in production environmentsExperience with application deployment strategies (rolling, blue-green, canary) and production troubleshooting in containerized environmentsExperience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar platforms.Preferred Skills and QualificationsProgramming languages / some development background with either Java, C#, Python, or NodeJSServer-less architecture methodologiesFamiliarity with PCI compliance and remediationMobile application support (iOS, Android)Experience with REST APIs or Microservices developmentAgile methodologies and working on short sprint cyclesExperience with Kubernetes observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and centralized logging (e.g., ELK stack).Experience managing Kubernetes deployments using Helm or similar package management tools.What's in it for YouWhen you join CoStar Group, you'll experience a collaborative and innovative culture working alongside the best and brightest to empower our people and customers to succeed.We offer you generous compensation and performance-based incentives.
