This role has full accountability for integration execution, and qualification testing, overseeing a multi-discipline test organization that spans development, integration, and formal qualification testing. The position manages test engineers, integration-focused test technicians, and qualification test technicians, ensuring efficient transition from early development hardware through system qualification and customer acceptance in compliance with aerospace and defense standards. The team will document the test results and in general collaborate with the design engineers to ensure the designs meet specified requirements and program goals. The team will support internal and external development and qualification test activities and manage the required laboratory facilities and equipment.Education / Experience5-10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (Aerospace preferred)Experience in mechanical and/or electronic laboratory work in a design and development engineering environmentExperience with Aerospace testing standards such as MIL-STD-810 and/or RTCA-DO-160 is highly desirableBachelor's degree in mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, or Systems Engineering is preferred, Associate Degree in Engineering Technology, Electronics Technology, or technical certification in a related field is preferred.
