Senior Development Director

To develop and manage multi-year fundraising strategies, the full-time Senior Associate Director of Development will cultivate relationships with donors, implement solicitation plans for various funding sources, and ensure collaborative efforts within the organization. Key responsibilities Develop and implement strategies for cultivating and soliciting gifts from corporate, foundation, and individual donors Build and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of new and current donors, focusing on major and planned gifts Ensure collaboration across teams and track measures of success for the North American Policy & Government Relations and Climate Mitigation Program Required qualifications Bachelor's degree and 7 years of related experience Proven experience in asking for and closing six and seven-figure gifts, including planned gifts Experience in building and maintaining long-term relationships with major donors and corporations Knowledge of fundraising principles and practices, particularly in capital campaigns and major gifts Experience or training in current trends in charitable giving
