Our client, a contemporary womenswear brand is seeking a Senior Technical Designer to join their team in NYC! Review samples and provide fit and construction feedback. Review measurements, proportions, construction, and overall garment fit. Collaborate with Design, Production, Sourcing, Pattern, and Quality teams. Communicate technical updates and corrections with overseas factories and vendors. Partner with factories to ensure quality, fit, and construction standards are met. Provide guidance on garment construction, materials, trims, and production techniques. Strong knowledge of apparel construction, fit, patternmaking, and manufacturing.
Knowledge of measurements, specifications, tolerances, and grading.
Experience working with overseas factories and vendors.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Hybrid, 3 days on site.
