Senior Designer

Senior Designers at Hook are master‑level designers and skilled storytellers who use design to bring ideas to life. They lead digital design projects from concept to launch, ensuring high‑quality, on‑time delivery and embodying a commitment to talent development, storytelling, and experimentation.

What you’ll do

• Execute and manage original, persuasive, conceptually rich design work that aligns with agency standards.
• Lead projects with a focus on storytelling through motion design.
• Collaborate with Creative Directors and Design Directors to exceed client expectations.
• Maintain awareness of industry design trends and standards, emphasizing processes and tools.
• Inspire a positive creative culture, showcasing ownership that raises standards and quality across the Design department.
• Juggle multiple projects while ensuring pixel‑perfect execution before client presentations.
• Set an example for junior staff, accelerating skill progression through collaboration, mentorship, and knowledge sharing.

What you’ll need

• 5+ years of cutting‑edge digital creative work with expert mastery of typography, layout, campaigns, brand identity, and social media design.
• Experience in a fast‑paced agency environment with case studies demonstrating work on recognizable brands.
• Proficiency in communicating brand narratives through storyboards, styleframes, illustration, or a combination thereof.
• Experience developing novel motion‑design concepts and leading animation projects alongside animators.
• Experience creating or expanding brand identity systems, offering a unique perspective and execution style.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
• Strong proficiency in Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, and emerging interactive design trends (knowledge of After Effects and Cinema 4D is a plus).
• Active user of AI image‑generation tools and a willingness to explore collaboration with evolving AI technologies.
• A willingness to share skills and knowledge with junior team members.
