Based in Houston, this role provides senior leadership across all design phases for a complex, multi billion dollar infrastructure program delivered using Design Build and Progressive Design Build models.The Senior Design Manager leads multi disciplinary teams, manages engineering partners, and works closely with construction teams to deliver safe, efficient, and constructible design solutions.What You Will DoLead design development for large scale flood gate, marine, and heavy civil infrastructureIntegrate civil, structural, geotechnical, hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, marine, and environmental designsManage design execution, schedules, budgets, and phased deliverablesCollaborate with construction partners on constructability, sequencing, and risk reductionOversee design subconsultants to ensure quality, coordination, and performanceChampion BIM enabled and digital delivery approachesCommunicate with clients, regulators, and stakeholders on design progress and technical decisionsMentor and develop engineers while fostering a collaborative and safety focused cultureHere's what you'll needBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, Master's preferred15 or more years of experience delivering major infrastructure design projectsProven leadership on Design Build or alternative delivery projects valued at $500 million or moreExperience with marine infrastructure, ports, heavy civil works, and large MEICA systemsStrong experience leading multi disciplinary teams and external partnersHands on experience with BIM and digital engineering toolsExcellent communication and leadership skillsHighly organized with strong problem solving and decision making abilityIdeally, you'll also have:Professional Engineer licensureExperience with flood gates or storm surge barrier systemsPosted Salary Range: Minimum $144,600.00.
