Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to lead the design, development, and execution of custom engineered products. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines mechanical design, project management, customer interaction, and technical mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop company products using SolidWorks and other engineering software
• Create detailed engineering drawings for customer proposals and manufacturing
• Generate bills of material (BOMs) and routings to support estimating and production
• Develop owner manuals, testing procedures, and engineering documentation
• Perform engineering calculations and equipment sizing
• Provide technical support throughout fabrication, assembly, and production
• Support field installations and troubleshoot product-related issues as needed
• Serve as Lead Engineer on assigned projects, acting as the primary technical contact for customers and vendors
• Manage project schedules, quality objectives, and budgets
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering and design team members
• Guide cross-functional teams through product development and project execution activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required
• Minimum of 10 years of engineering experience
• Strong proficiency with SolidWorks CAD software
• Experience creating engineering drawings, BOMs, and manufacturing documentation
• Ability to perform engineering calculations and equipment sizing
• Proven project leadership experience
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills
• Experience supporting manufacturing operations

Preferred Background

• Custom machinery, material handling, automation, industrial xzgxqkn equipment, or manufacturing environments
• Leadership, mentoring, or supervisory experience within an engineering team
• Experience managing multiple engineering projects simultaneously
