Skill-sets:
- Extensive experience on concept generation
- Extensive experience in design and detailed drawing creation of sheet metal and machined components of complex & precise parts
- Experience in Geometric Dimension & Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Experience in tolerance stack-up analysis
- Ability to read schematics and P&ID drawings
- Good hands-on experience in SolidWorks & AutoCAD
- Knowledge/hands-on experience in manufacturing
- Experience in DFX & DFMEA
- Experience in industrial automation and/or semiconductor equipment design
- Knowledge of clean room compatible materials and clean room requirements
- Knowledge of vacuum systems and gas systems (added advantage)
- Knowledge on system cooling & water flow analysis (added advantage)
- Design & analysis experience using Ansys Workbench/proMechanica (optional)
- Very good written and verbal communication skills
Work Profile:
He/She will be responsible for the design and development of machine subsystems used in semiconductor equipment. Will be responsible for completing the concept designs, conducting design reviews, proving the concept with supportive hand calculations and FEA analysis wherever applicable. Work with the team to complete detailed design and drawings and release. Work with the Purchase department to procure and test/validate the design. Should be comfortable working hands-on in the lab for assembly, testing, and validation.
