If this sounds like a culture you would like to work in, you're invited to apply for this role.Job DescriptionThe ideal candidate for this position would be capable of serving in the following positions: As a Lead Engineer or a Responsible Engineer (RE) handling highly complex, large mechanical process equipment packages in some of the following fields:Life Sciences – Drug substances and Drug products, Blood Fractionation processes and VaccinesAdvanced Technology – Semiconductor, Smart Batteries and DatacentersAdvanced Manufacturing – Carbon Fiber production, Foods (Sugar, Potato Chips) and Rare Earth Minerals productionLong DescriptionLEAD ENGINEERManage a team of approximately (12) mechanical engineersDevelop and review project Scope of Services, Scope of Facilities, and other project documents for all phases of projectsDevelop and review estimates and schedules, progress reports, including workforce forecastsReview and approve vendor lists, quotation requests/bid tabulations/purchase ordersParticipate in people development through mentoring, development of training material, conducting training seminars, and performance appraisal input and counselingRESPONSIBLE ENGINEER (Under Direction of a Lead Engineer)Manage the engineering and procurement activities for large highly complex equipment packages.Review vendor equipment documentation for compliance with project requirements, and actively seek discrepancy resolutionProvide consultation and/or on-site assistance for the installation, commissioning, and/or start up of equipmentBasic Job RequirementsAccredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in engineering field of study and ten (10) years* of work-related experience; a recognized professional certification or registration in the applicable field, if required; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirementsMay need to travel to attend to business related mattersOther Job RequirementsRelevant Engineering Procurement Construction Management (EPCM) experienceEquipment knowledge and experience with: WIFI Stills, Modular/Skidded Systems, Autoclaves, Bioreactors, Centrifuges, Chromatography, CIP Systems, Hygienic Equipment, Pressure Vessels, Tanks, Pumps, Heat Exchanger, Rare Earth processing equipment, Semiconductor equipment, Datacenters, etc.Strong MS Office application experienceWorking knowledge of Autodesk 2D CADWorking knowledge of SolidWorks 3D CADFamiliarity with Smart Plant 3D, Revit and NavisworksPreferred QualificationsWe are an equal opportunity employer.
