This role will focus on database architecture, cloud operations, performance tuning, migrations, ETL processes, and high-availability support within a large-scale production environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain enterprise databases, data lakes, and data warehousesAdminister PostgreSQL and MongoDB (performance tuning, patching, backups, DR, replication)Lead database migrations across data centers and AWS cloud environmentsDevelop and optimize complex SQL/NoSQL queries and ETL processesMonitor production environments (CPU, memory, storage, batch jobs)Implement security hardening and data governance best practicesCollaborate with DevOps teams supporting CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Bamboo, Git, etc)Perform hands-on maintenance activities (VACUUM, ANALYZE, full vacuum, storage management).Required Experience8+ years in enterprise database design and administration4+ years hands-on PostgreSQL & MongoDB experience4+ years supporting AWS (EC2, AMIs, CI/CD)Strong expertise in database architecture, indexing, partitioning, replication, and performance tuningExperience with large-volume database migrationsBackground in ETL and data warehousingPreferredExperience supporting Health Insurance Marketplace (HIX), ACA, or Health & Human Services systemsKnowledge of EDI transactions (834, 820, 270/271)Experience with data governance and healthcare data environmentsMust be flexible to support production environments, including occasional off-hours support.
