Senior Database Administrator - MS SQL Server

Senior Database AdministratorWe are seeking a highly experienced Senior Database Administrator with over 8+ years of expertise in managing large scale, mission critical database environments. The ideal candidate will have deep hands on experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2012–2022)MSSQL Server Administration• Administer and support SQL Server databases (2012–2022) across production, QA, and development environments.• Design, implement, and maintain HA/DR solutions including:o Always On Availability Groupso Distributed Availability Groupso Replication (Transactional, Merge, Snapshot)o Log Shippingo Mirroring• Perform advanced performance tuning, query optimization, indexing strategies, and resource allocation.• Implement and manage enterprise grade backup, restore, and disaster recovery strategies.• Automate routine tasks using PowerShell, T SQL, SQL Agent Jobs, and custom scripts.• Monitor database health using tools such as Fog light, SolarWinds, Redgate, and Azure Monitor.• Plan and execute SQL Server upgrades, migrations, and patching with minimal downtime.• Enforce database security best practices including RBAC, encryption, auditing, and compliance.Diverse Lynx LLC is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
