Role: Senior Database Admin
Location: Orlando, FL, Tampa, FL , Columbus, OH or Cincinnati, OH
Pay Rate: $45-50/hour on W2, client will not consider C2C
Responsibilities
• Act as the highest technical escalation point for SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and OCI database environments.
• Lead enterprise database modernization, cloud migration, and upgrade projects.
• Design and implement highly available, scalable, and secure database architectures.
• Perform proactive health checks, performance optimization, and capacity planning.
• Mentor L1/L2 DBAs and establish operational best practices.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, application, and security teams to deliver resilient database services.
• Drive automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.
