To support a growing Mortgage Servicing platform, the full-time Senior Data Services Engineer will design, build, and optimize scalable data solutions while leveraging Python and cloud technologies in a remote work environment. Key responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and services using Python and modern data engineering frameworks Architect and implement data solutions on cloud platforms, ensuring high-volume and high-availability data workloads Serve as a technical leader, mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven solutions Required qualifications: Four-year college degree in a relevant discipline with 4 years of experience, or an advanced degree in a related field Strong proficiency in Python for data engineering, including experience with frameworks like FastAPI, Flask, or Django Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their core data services Solid experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases, including schema design and performance tuning Experience in Mortgage Servicing or Financial Services, with an understanding of business and regulatory needs
