Responsibilities
- Design and implement machine learning and statistical models to analyse high-dimensional biomedical data.
- Partner with scientists, clinicians, and engineers to define data-driven strategies and build end-to-end analytical pipelines.
- Translate complex scientific questions into structured data science problems with actionable outcomes.
- Contribute to the development of novel algorithms and ensure reproducibility and scalability in analytical workflows.
- Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through presentations and visualizations.
Requirements
- PhD (or equivalent experience) in Data Science, Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience applying machine learning in a research or industry setting, preferably within healthcare or life sciences.
- Strong background in working with large, complex datasets, including both structured and unstructured data.
- Deep scientific curiosity and a passion for driving impact in human health.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a highly collaborative, interdisciplinary team.
