Working remotely on a contract basis, the Senior Data Scientist Contractor will drive advanced statistical modeling and complex analytics while providing analytical leadership and consulting directly with external clients, particularly in the healthcare and government sectors. Key Responsibilities Independently define analytical approaches and provide strategic recommendations to stakeholders Develop, validate, and productionize machine learning models using advanced techniques Work directly with clients to understand project needs and deliver high-quality data science solutions Required Qualifications Intermediate to advanced experience in Microsoft Azure, specifically Azure Databricks Advanced proficiency in R and strong SQL and database management experience Proven experience with machine learning techniques, including predictive modeling and Random Forest Experience handling sensitive health or regulated datasets and current CITI Certification or ability to obtain one Advanced R Shiny experience and familiarity with GitHub and CI/CD pipelines (highly preferred)
