To support the automation of complex tax and accounting workflows, the full-time Senior Data Scientist and Machine Learning Engineer will build and ship production ML systems, manage ML/AI problem spaces end-to-end, and collaborate closely with engineering and product teams in a remote work environment. Key responsibilities Own ML/AI problem spaces from defining success metrics to driving projects from prototype to production Develop and improve models for classification, information extraction, clustering, and forecasting Collaborate with engineering on productionization, scalability, and model serving pipelines Required qualifications MS/PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience 6+ years of industry experience as a Data Scientist / Applied Scientist / ML Engineer with a focus on shipping ML to production Strong proficiency in Python and the modern data/ML ecosystem (NumPy/Pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch or TensorFlow) Experience building data pipelines and working with SQL and relational databases Experience deploying and maintaining models in production, including monitoring and iteration
