Senior Data Scientist, AI Search / AEO Research

• You'll own the research that helps define our AI Shopping roadmap
• Helping shape how we measure a brand's AI Shopping capability
• Optimizing for the best outcomes
• Designing the studies, building the models, publishing the findings
• Sitting with customers to show them what the data means for their business

Requirements

• A demonstrated point of view on AI search (AEO/GEO)
• Strong data science, statistical, and causal-inference / econometric skills, with fluency in Python, SQL, or similar
• Original research experience
• An SEO / search discovery background
• Experimentation chops
• Storytelling with data
• Comfort with ambiguity
• Deep curiosity about commerce
• External recognition for your research — press, whitepapers, published benchmarks, or conference talks is nice to have
• Customer-facing or consulting experience is nice to have
• Familiarity with the AEO/GEO tooling landscape is nice to have
• Experience at an e-commerce, martech, or search company or working closely with retail brands and their product data is nice to have
• An advanced degree or academic research background in economics, digital markets, computational social science, or a related quantitative field is nice to have.
