Senior Data Manager/SAS Programmer

To support clinical and epidemiological research, the full-time remote Senior Data Manager/SAS Programmer will manage data management activities, develop databases and workflows, and perform advanced SAS programming to ensure data integrity and compliance throughout the research lifecycle. Key responsibilities Lead data management for clinical and observational studies from start-up to closeout, ensuring data completeness and accuracy Design and maintain study databases and data management processes, including data collection instruments and validation rules Perform advanced SAS programming for data cleaning, transformation, and validation, while developing automated programming solutions Required qualifications B.S. or M.S. degree in computer science, health sciences, or related field, with relevant experience in health research programming and data management Advanced SAS programming skills, including experience with DATA and PROC steps, macro programming, and complex data validation Proven experience managing complex research data, particularly in clinical or epidemiologic studies Strong understanding of the full research data lifecycle, including data collection, cleaning, and quality control Ability to lead data management activities independently, manage priorities, and deliver high-quality work within timelines
