Senior Data Infrastructure EngineerThe Senior Data Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for orchestrating, deploying, maintaining and scaling cloud OR on-premise infrastructure targeting big data and platform data management (Relational and NoSQL, distributed and converged) with emphasis on reliability, automation and performance. This role will focus on support new Customer Services projects.5-8 Years ExperienceHas experience working with Cloudera CDH and CDP as an adminHas experience and mindset working in an Enterprise environment where there are processes in place via ITIL and interact with multiple stakeholders from multiple departments/teamsWork on complex, major or highly visible tasks in support of multiple projects that require multiple areas of expertiseExcellent verbal and written communications skillsMust be able to perform assigned tasks with minimum supervisionAbility to work and collaborate in a fast pace and multi-taskingExcellent in monitoring and troubleshooting with across teams, with bug fixes, software upgrades and escalations.Experience with scripting and automationStrongly demonstrated knowledge of DB2Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) knowledge and experience with web services is strongly preferred, but not requiredExcellent problem-solving skillsStrong analytical skillsFamiliar with structured programming techniquesStrong documentation skillsExperience working in an Agile environment is a plusSoftware:5-8 years of experience in administration and support of NextGen Platforms built with Cloudera and Big Data Technologies such as Hadoop, Flume, Solr, NiFi, HBase, Hue, Impala, Kafka, Kudu, Oozie, Spark, YARN, ZooKeeper, etc. as well as setting up cluster.2+ years of experience with AWS (S3, RedShift, EC2, Lamda, IAM, DevOps, Replication and disaster recovery) is a PLUS5-8 years of experience in a Linux and Apache processing environment5-8 years of experience with Unix shell scripting, SQL, PL/SQLDevOps (CI/CD Pipeline)Applies and implements best practices for data auditing, scalability, reliability and application performance.
