Leading the establishment and maturation of enterprise-wide data governance capabilities, the full-time remote Senior Data Governance Manager will oversee data governance, stewardship, metadata management, and compliance with healthcare regulations, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and security. Key responsibilities Establish and continuously improve the enterprise data governance program, including policies and standards Serve as the primary expert on HIPAA, PII, and PHI compliance, defining data handling and access standards Lead governance strategy for the Snowflake data platform, ensuring operationalization of governance controls Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or 8+ years of experience in data governance or related disciplines Demonstrated experience in implementing enterprise data governance programs in regulated environments Strong expertise in HIPAA, PHI, PII, and healthcare data compliance practices Hands-on experience with cloud-based data platforms, preferably Snowflake Familiarity with governance and cataloging platforms such as Collibra or Microsoft Purview preferred
