Leading a team of data professionals, the full-time Senior Data Engineering Manager will oversee data architecture, governance, and analytics engineering, driving data democratization and team expansion in a remote environment. Key responsibilities Build and lead a team of Analytics Engineers and Data Engineers, establishing technical standards and career growth paths Own the architecture and strategy for data ingestion, warehouse modeling, and analytics engineering, ensuring robust governance and security frameworks Serve as the product manager for data-related systems, translating stakeholder requirements into actionable roadmaps and ensuring appropriate tooling and access Required qualifications 7+ years of experience in data engineering and/or analytics engineering, with direct people management experience Proven ability to attract and scale engineering talent while maintaining high technical standards Demonstrated experience in end-to-end data platform architecture and product ownership in a regulated industry Deep expertise in cloud data warehouses, orchestration tools, and ingestion tooling Practical experience in designing role-based access control frameworks and data governance practices
