Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) Data Engineer to design, develop, and support enterprise data integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Informatica IDMC services, ETL/ELT development, cloud data integration, data quality, and large-scale data transformation initiatives. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and data teams to build scalable, high-performance data pipelines and ensure data quality, governance, and operational excellence.
What you will do:
Key Responsibilities
Informatica IDMC Development
- Design, develop, and maintain data integration solutions using Informatica IDMC.
- Build and support integrations utilizing Cloud Data Integration (CDI), Cloud Data Quality (CDQ), Application Integration, and Mass Ingestion services.
- Develop reusable mappings, mapping tasks, workflows, and orchestration processes.
- Implement scalable cloud-based data ingestion, transformation, and integration solutions.
ETL/ELT and Data Engineering
- Design, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for enterprise data platforms.
- Perform source-to-target mapping, data transformation, cleansing, validation, and enrichment.
- Integrate data across cloud and on-premises environments.
- Manage large-scale data movement and support high-volume data processing requirements.
- Collaborate with architects and business teams to implement data solutions aligned with business objectives.
Database and Cloud Technologies
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and database objects.
- Work with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Support data warehouses, data lakes, and modern cloud analytics platforms.
- Implement secure and efficient cloud connectivity and integration patterns.
Data Quality, Governance and Security
- Implement and maintain data quality frameworks and validation rules.
- Support metadata management and data governance initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise data security, privacy, and regulatory standards.
- Participate in data lineage, auditing, and reconciliation activities.
Monitoring and Production Support
- Monitor and troubleshoot data integration workflows and pipelines.
- Perform root cause analysis for production issues and implement preventive measures.
- Optimize job performance and ensure SLA adherence.
- Support incident management, deployment activities, and operational excellence initiatives.
What you will bring:
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering and ETL/ELT development.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Informatica IDMC.
- Strong experience with CDI, CDQ, Application Integration, and Mass Ingestion services.
- Advanced SQL development and database optimization skills.
- Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and data integration concepts.
- Experience with performance tuning, troubleshooting, and production support.
Preferred Qualifications
- Informatica IDMC certification.
- Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Fabric, or Azure Data Factory.
- Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and automated deployment practices.
- Experience in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, or Healthcare domains.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
